Professional Overview 
Dr. Knight is a licensed psychiatric nurse practitioner and a licensed clinical psychologist. She coordinates the Psychiatric-Mental Health Advanced Practice Nursing Program. She has a long history working as both an academician and psychiatric practitioner. She has a private practice where she conducts psychiatric evaluations, prescribes psychiatric medication, and provides psychotherapy for children, adolescents and adults. Dr. Knight is certified in family, gestalt, redecision, emotion-focused, cognitive-behavioral, and expressive arts therapy. She has special interests in psychotherapy training and supervision, mental health public policy, anxiety and psychophysiological disorders, and integrating music and the creative arts in healing practices.
