NYU Meyers College of Nursing Faculty Honored with 2017 Eastern Nursing Research Society Award

New York University Rory Meyers College of Nursing (NYU Meyers) Assistant Professor Janet Van Cleave, PhD, RN, was honored at the 29th Annual Scientific Sessions of the Eastern Nursing Research Society (ENRS), in Philadelphia on April 7, 2017. 

Dr. Van Cleave is the 2017 recipient of the ENRS/Nursing Research Authorship Award.  The Award recognizes an ENRS member who disseminated research findings, or important theoretical, or methodological advances in the official ENRS Journal, Nursing Research, within the previous year (2016).by the ENRS Awards Committee

Dr. Van Cleave embodies the frontline researchers who represent us as a uniquely east coast institution; they are among the best and brightest healthcare professionals contributing to nursing research in the 21st century."

 

About Dr. Van Cleave

Dr. Van Cleave, a specialist in gerontology, is dedicated to improving the quality of care for patients with cancer. Her program of research addresses the complexity of care required by this population as they transition across health care settings and providers. She is conducting studies to identify interventions that will improve the quality of life and symptom management, from diagnosis to survivorship or end of life.
