Caremobi: FAQ

CareMobi How To's

You can download CareMobi by visiting the Apple Store or the Android Play Store

To Sign Up, open CareMobi and select Sign Up. You will need a valid email address to start securely tracking and sharing information about a loved one’s day-to-day health. 

To signup to CareMobi:

  • Download the App
  • Click on Signup
  • Complete all fields on the signup form
  • Make sure to use a valid email address (if you were invited to a care team, make sure to use the email address were you received the invite)

Care team members can only be added by the care team admin. Once a care team member is added, the person will have access to view and post updates within that care team. 

Care team members can be removed by the care team admin at any time. Once the member has been removed, the member will no longer have access to the care team data. 

To add a care team memeber:

  1. Select Patient
  2. Select Care team
  3. Select Add a Member
  4. Select Add a Co-Admin/Proxy or Add a Member
  5. Enter the email address for the Invite
  6. Enter the Invitees name

The invitees will need to download the app and create an account and login with the same email address added to the invite.

When you are invited to a CareMobi care team, you will receive an email letting you know that you have been invited to a care team. The email will come from CareMobi <nursing.caremobi@nyu.edu>. 

If you haven't downloaded the app, you will need to download the app and create an account with the valid email address the CareMobi invite was sent to. 

Once your account is created, log in to CareMobi and you will be prompted to accept any pending invitations. You can also see pending invitations by selecting Switch care teams

 

CareMobi can notify you about most actions happening in a particular care team or specify the actions.

Here is how you enable push notifications:

  • Select your profile
  • Select Push Notifications 
  • Turn on Allow Notifications
  • Turn on/off notification options

To create a care team:

  • Select Switch Team
  • Select Create Care Team
  • Follow the prompts and fill the care team profile as complete as possible
  • Make sure to invite care team members when prompted. 

When you export the patient data, it will be sent via email to the email used to login to CareMobi. Exporting data can be useful to share with your primary care provider. 

 

To export your data: 

  • Click on the patient profile 
  • Select "Export Data" 
  • Select a date range 
  • Select data categories
  • Select "Send to my Email"

Appointments can be added to CareMobi, easily shared with care team members and synced to your device. 

Appointments will appear within the Recent Activity for the CareTeam to alert care team members of the appointment.  

To add an appointment:

  • Select "Appointments" from the home screen
  • Select "Add New Appointment"
  • Complete all the fields for the appointment
  • You can invite a care team member to an appointment by clicking "Add a Guest"
