Prof. Christine Kovner named treasurer of CGFNS

Dr. Christine Kovner elected to a two-year term as treasurer on the Board of Trustees at CGFNS International
CGFNS, International, the world’s largest credentials evaluation organization for nursing and the healthcare community, announced updates to its Board of Trustees effective Jan. 1, 2017. Dr. Christine Kovner, PhD, RN, FAAN, Mathy Mezey Professor of Geriatric Nursing at the New York University Rory Meyers College of Nursing, was elected to a two-year term as Treasurer of the CGFNS Board of Trustees. Dr. Kovner has been on the board since January 1, 2016.
“We are delighted to have new trustees join the Board,” said Board Chair Michael Bleich, PhD, RN, FNAP, FAAN. “They bring a wide range of knowledge and experience that will help set the course for CGFNS’s continuing success.”
