Admissions

As an international applicant, your foreign transcript(s) must be evaluated by a transcript evaluation service. NYU requires that all final documents for students from schools outside of the United States be sent directly to our partner, Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE) for US equivalency evaluation. There is no fee associated with sending materials to ECE, and all documents will be reviewed for authenticity and shared with NYU upon completion. These are the basic requirements for eligibility to the program. Please be sure to upload all evaluations to your online application.

Important disclosure for international students who require visa sponsorship

NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing (NYU Meyers) graduate core coursework is currently only offered through online study/distance learning. This will impact the ability for international students who require visa sponsorship to obtain a student visa (F1 or J1) for the 1st semester of the degree program due to the number of classes that must be taken on campus/in person. The first semester of the program can be completed remotely from the applicants’ home country, therefore the admitted student would not need a student visa for the 1st semester. For detailed information, please contact nursing.admissions@nyu.edu regarding any curriculum inquiries and the Office of Global Services for any visa inquiries.

English language testing requirements

Please check out NYU's international student webpage for more information on what exams/scores are required.
