Program Overview

NYU Meyers encourages interested scholars to apply for a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Nursing Science. The fellowship program supports outstanding early-career investigators whose research advances the mission to transform health outcomes through rigorous, innovative, and impactful nursing science.

Our faculty lead research programs across four major focus areas:

  • Adults, Aging, and Serious Illness — geriatrics, palliative, and long-term care; management and treatment of serious illness; mental health and well-being.
  • Health Services Research — health systems, policy, and workforce issues
  • Maternal, Reproductive, and Child Health — reproductive, maternal, perinatal, neonatal, childhood, and adolescent health and well-being, and their connections to social, biological, and structural factors.
  • Population Precision Health and Chronic Conditions — individualized prevention and treatment, data-driven interventions, proactive health strategies, and investigation of underlying biomolecular mechanisms.
