Collaboratives

Meyers Research Collaboratives & Cores

Meyers Research organizes its faculty expertise into four distinct Collaborative domains. Within these domains, specialized Cores bridge the gap between scientific discovery and real-world application.

By leveraging a transdisciplinary, team-science approach, we move beyond traditional boundaries to promote health equity for all populations. Our methodology is uniquely grounded in nursing science, focusing on the dual goals of enhancing person-centered outcomes and driving broad-scale systems improvement. We don't just study health challenges; we build the evidence-based solutions required to solve them at the population level.

Aging and Serious Illness Research Collaboratives and Cores (ASIR)

ASIR works to advance science, practice, and policy to improve care for older adults and people living with serious illness. Faculty lead nationally recognized research in geriatrics, dementia, palliative and end-of-life care, and health equity, driving system and policy change.

MRCH works to improve outcomes across reproductive, maternal, perinatal, child, and adolescent health with a focus on equity and innovation. It brings together researchers, clinicians, and community partners to translate discoveries into policies and practices that improve quality, safety, and well-being for families.

PPH seeks to understand mechanisms and transform the prevention and management of serious illness and chronic conditions across the lifespan by integrating biomolecular, behavioral, and social science. Investigators develop culturally responsive, technology-enabled solutions that leverage data science and precision health to reduce disparities and improve outcomes.
