The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual, and 2-spirit (LGBTQIA2) Nursing Student Association works to build community at NYU Meyers among LGBT nursing students and allies through the promotion of awareness of common LGBT health-related issues. The LGBTQIA2-NSA advocates for the growth and development of its members as leaders in nursing and society through education, outreach, and service. It collaborates with other student interest groups to explore the intersectionality of LGBT health issues and hosts frequent roundtable discussions for students, faculty, and staff members to come together and talk about issues affecting the community.
Membership in all student organizations at NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing is open to all NYU Meyers students.
