Jessica Marchini, DNP, NP-C, is a Clinical Instructor at NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing. Her teaching, research and clinical practice focus on primary care, community health, and vulnerable or marginalized populations. She is passionate about improving new graduates’ transition to clinical practice in the community health setting. She is a member of the Advisory Board for Community Healthcare Network’s NP Fellowship Program and maintains an active clinical practice as a family nurse practitioner.
Prior to joining the faculty at NYU Meyers, Marchini was the director of Community Healthcare Network’s NP Fellowship Program, the first NP fellowship in New York State. This program provides newly licensed nurse practitioners with additional education and mentorship to prepare for practice in underserved community clinics. As a registered nurse, Marchini worked in emergency medicine and pediatric psychiatry.
