Addressing systemic racism in our practice settings
Racial disparities that were laid bare in the coronavirus pandemic and the death of George Floyd have made the issue of longstanding systemic racism real for all of us. How do people of good faith learn to generate a better understanding of systemic racism and the impact it has on our practice settings? How can we create psychologically, safe places where meaningful discussions can occur? How can we be better allies to each other through support, listening, and learning?
We have invited four esteemed nurse leaders to join the Nursing Administration Alumni Advisory Council as we lead discussion together of discovery and colleagueship. We hope you will join us for this open dialogue and discussion.
