About this Event

Join us for a United Nations CSW Parallel Event hosted by New York University in collaboration with the International Council of Nurses (ICN) and SONSIEL. This interactive, conversation-based session will explore how women’s health inequities—ranging from maternal mortality and reproductive health disparities to gender-based violence, child marriage, chronic stress, and unpaid care work—are interconnected and rooted in structural inequities. Together, we will examine tangible advocacy strategies, practical leadership pathways, and the global impact of local action. Participants will engage in meaningful dialogue and leave with concrete takeaways to advance women-centered care, elevate nursing leadership, and contribute to sustainable systems change.

We invite advocates, students, leaders, and allies to join the conversation and help reimagine women’s health as a foundation for equity and global progress.
