Collaborative Partner - Careum University, Zurich

Utilizing U.S. scope of practice and associated competencies as a reference, this project supports the evolution of the advanced practice nurse as a primary care provider.  The population focus is on chronically ill, disabled and elderly individuals aging in place in the community and the related best practices for the prevention of hospitalization and institutionalization.  Sharing innovative approaches to nursing care delivery with students, faculty and health care leaders facilitates ideation and creation of new models of care while supporting the cultural values of the country adapting the NP role to best suit the needs of their health care system.
