Cheng Li, MSN, RN, is a PhD student at NYU Rory Meyers. Her research interests center on Advance Care Planning in dementia, aiming to improve person-centered care and decision-making.
Li’s background spans clinical practice, global health, and health systems research. In addition to her clinical experience as an operating room registered nurse, she has participated in multiple global health projects, including a trans-disciplinary project in Laos. She has contributed to reviews on health systems of Myanmar and China, as well as nursing workforce scale development and diver health research in Indonesia. Having worked at multiple locations worldwide, she has gained exposure to healthcare delivery, research implementation, and cross-cultural collaboration.
