Dominique Guillaume, PhD, MSN, is a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor at NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing. As a clinician-scientist, her research focuses on advancing cervical cancer and HIV prevention in the United States and globally through the integration of mixed-methods, psychometric, and community-engaged approaches. Saharan Africa.Prof. Guillaume is the co-Principal Investigator on a research study funded by the United Methodist Committee on Global Relief that uses implementation science to support cervical cancer screening programs in Northern and Southern Haiti. She has also received funding from the National Institutes of Health (F31NR020861-01), the National League for Nursing, and the Johns Hopkins Center for Qualitative Studies in Health and Medicine for research addressing disparities in HPV vaccination rates among Haitian immigrant and migrant women in the United States. Her work has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals, and has informed global cancer control efforts. She currently serves on the Editorial Board of the American Journal of Preventive Medicine (AJPM) Focus.
Prior to joining the faculty at NYU, Guillaume was a T32 Cancer Epidemiology Postdoctoral Fellow at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. In conjunction with her research, she maintained clinical practice as an HIV Clinical Lead at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Baltimore City. Her clinical experience working directly with underserved communities has informed her research on developing culturally responsive and community-centered approaches to cervical cancer and HIV prevention.
