Chin Park, PhD, MBA, RN, is the director of the Nursing Informatics program and a clinical assistant professor at the New York University Rory Meyers College of Nursing. He has an extensive healthcare background in hospital pharmacy operations and information systems, project management, nursing administration, and data analytics that spans 14 years.
Prior to joining the faculty at NYU, Park was the project manager for a hospital-wide medication cabinet deployment, and he provided ongoing pharmacy and medication administration professional development to the nursing staff. He was also an assistant director of nursing at a chemical dependency treatment facility, managing over 30 staff nurses. Park was the assistant director of Data Analysis at the New York State Sepsis Initiative, where he managed the reporting, analyses, and auditing of data for severe sepsis and septic shock patients in New York State article 28 hospitals.
Park received his PhD in nursing from Columbia University, MBA in business from Purdue University, and BA in general studies from Indiana University.
