Project Period
My research program is driven by a commitment to advancing health equity and improving outcomes for older adults, particularly those from Black, Latino, and other historically underserved communities. Across my work, I aim to understand how social and structural determinants such as access to resources, quality of community based and long-term care services, and systemic inequities shape older adults’ ability to age well and maintain independence within their communities, and to develop strategies that address these challenges.
