This pilot cohort study, the Malawi Brain Study (MBS), aims to demonstrate the feasibility and acceptability of the study. It will facilitate preliminary analysis to estimate the prevalence of dementia and identify possible risk factors associated with dementia, as well as evaluate the reliability and validity of the selected Chichewa version scales.
