The successful applicants would demonstrate an ability to implement simulation sessions according to the NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing principles of simulation education; conduct debriefing sessions according to evidence-based standards and guidelines; maintain documentation on student’s performance after each simulation session; facilitate student learning, critical thinking, and problem-solving using reflection through the use of simulation; serve as a professional role model for students in dress, communication, and deportment to facilitate student’s socialization into the nursing profession; communicate student issues promptly to the course coordinator and the Director of Simulation Learning in order to make appropriate student referrals for remediation or address other student needs.

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the contact hour rate for this position is $149.25. This rate is based on the collective bargaining agreement with Local 7902.
