The Service Award, granted by the NYU Meyers Alumni Association, recognizes the contributions of students of the baccalaureate, master's, and doctoral programs in the NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing. Candidates for graduation who have demonstrated both a record of accomplishment of professional and/or volunteer service activities performed based on the needs of the community for health-related outcomes are recognized. Services may be community-based, outreach, or on-campus activities, including department and/or healthcare agency-based projects that affect a healthcare outcome. The Service Award is given to the students who best exemplify the spirit of volunteerism.
