Students enrolled in the NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing are expected to follow the University’s policy for academic integrity including plagiarism and cheating. Nursing students are also expected to follow the guidelines of the NSNA Code of Ethics and Interpretive Statements from the National Student Nurses Association and the Code of Ethics for Nurses from the American Nurses’ Association for professional conduct in and out of the classroom and in on- and off-campus clinical simulation experiences.
Nursing students must maintain high standards of honor in their academic and professional work. Violations of academic integrity may result in failure on a particular assignment, failure in a course, suspension, or expulsion from NYU Meyers or other penalties.
