NYU Meyers is committed to supporting students as they develop career plans, pursue nursing positions, and evaluate their professional goals. NYU Meyers students are encouraged to check the Wasserman job postings on a regular basis, make appointments with career specialists, and attend the bi-annual career fair.
Nursing students are invited to a Career Fair held each fall and spring at the Wasserman Center for Career Development, to meet with employers from local hospitals, community centers and other healthcare-related organizations and facilities to discuss full-time employment, as well as externship and volunteer opportunities.
Our next Career Fair is November 30th from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at the Wasserman Center for Career Development.
Wasserman Center for Career Development
The Office of Student Affairs works closely with the Wasserman Center for Career Development to list all volunteer, externship, internship, and job listings on CareerNet. Students can find details on these programs by logging in to their account and search with keywords "nursing" and "healthcare." In addition, The Wasserman Center offers resume and interviewing workshops and one-on-one sessions for students.
A one-stop shop for healthcare jobs, LiquidCompass can help students find positions quickly and easily at no cost. Visit the NYU Meyers page here.
