
Graduates who plan to attend the All-NYU Commencement at Yankee Stadium and/or the NYU Meyers graduation at the Theater at Madison Square Garden, must register to attend EACH ceremony. Academic attire is required at both ceremonies.

NYU Meyers Graduation & Pinning Ceremony Schedule, May 19, 2025
- 3:00 p.m. - Doors open for graduates and guests
- 4:00 p.m. - Graduation Ceremony begins
- Pinning Ceremony for May 2025 BS graduates will follow about a half-hour after the graduation ceremony ends.
Graduates and guests should enter at the main entrance to Madison Square Garden, on 7th avenue between 31st and 33rd streets. Graduates will be directed to hallway C-D on the same level. Guests will proceed up the escalators into the Theater lobby.

All-NYU Commencement at Yankee Stadium
Each graduate gets up to three tickets - one for themselves and two for guests. Candidates for graduation will receive an email invitation to Commencement, with ticket-ordering instructions. You have until April 23, 2025 to order tickets.
Graduates can also enter a lottery to get one additional ticket to the Yankee Stadium ceremony.
NYU Meyers Graduation & Pinning Ceremony

For those who have registered, ticket distribution will be digitally. You can access, manage, and transfer tickets to your guests through the MSG Sports & Entertainment Ticketmaster Account Manager page. THIS IS NOT THE SAME AS the Ticketmaster app or the public-facing Ticketmaster website. It is a new account linked to your NYU email.
- To attend the NYU Meyers Graduation & Pinning Ceremony, all candidates/graduates and guests must show their tickets upon entry to the Theater at Madison Square Garden. You must save one (1) ticket for yourself.
- We strongly encourage all attendees to add their tickets to their mobile wallets before arrival at MSG. Screenshots of tickets will NOT be accepted.
Here's How You Can Access Your Tickets
Once you’re on the MSG Sports & Entertainment Ticketmaster Account Manager page, click Sign In on the upper right corner of the page, enter your NYU email and follow the prompts to create an account and password. When you’re logged into your account, navigate to the menu on the upper left corner and follow these steps to see and download your tickets:
- Select Tickets
- Under “My Events" select View Event Details
- Select ONE (1) ticket - this will show the mobile ticket and barcode you can use to enter the venue. We recommend choosing the option: Add Ticket to Your Mobile Wallet.
Only add ONE (1) ticket to your mobile wallet for your entry. You will transfer your other tickets to your guests.
Transferring Your Tickets to Guests
You can transfer tickets directly to your guests by text or email using your MSG Sports & Entertainment/Ticketmaster Account Manager. Navigate to the menu on the upper left corner and follow these steps:
- Select Tickets
- Under "My Events" select View Event Details
- Next to "MySafeTix" select More on the right with the ellipse symbol (...)
- A menu will pop up: select Transfer
- Check the box to the left of each ticket(s) you want to transfer to a specific guest, and select Continue.
- Enter your guest’s first and last names, and the email address or cell number, and select Save.
- If you are texting the ticket(s), select Send Text to finalize the process. If you are emailing the ticket(s), select Transfer.
How Guests Accept Ticket Transfers
Please note that your guests must use the same email or cell number you used for the transfer to access their tickets.
**Via Text
- In the text notifying the guest of the ticket transfer, the guest should follow the link to connect to MSG Sports & Entertainment Account Manager. If the guest does not already have an account, they can create a new one. Either way, your guest MUST use the email or cell number you used to transfer the tickets to access.
- The event will appear in the guest's MSG Sports & Entertainment Account Manager dashboard.
- The guest should select a ticket - this will show the mobile ticket and barcode that they can use to enter the venue. We recommend that guests choose the option: Add Ticket to Mobile Wallet.
- Repeat Step 3 for each ticket that was transferred to them.
**Via Email
- In the email notifying the guest of the ticket transfer, the guest should select Accept Tickets to connect to MSG Sports & Entertainment Account Manager. If the guest does not already have an account, they can create a new one. Either way, your guest MUST use the email or cell number you used to transfer the tickets to access.
- The event will appear in the guest's MSG Sports & Entertainment Account Manager dashboard.
- The guest should select a ticket - this will show the mobile ticket and barcode that the guest can use to enter the venue. We recommend that guests choose the option: Add Ticket to Mobile Wallet.
- Repeat Step 3 for each ticket that was transferred to them.

Academic attire must be worn by graduates attending the All-NYU Commencement and/or the NYU Meyers Graduation. If you ordered academic attire online, you can pick up your cap and gown at the Kimmel Center during on-campus distribution from May 7 to 14. You can also purchase attire or individual items at the Kimmel Center from May 9 to 14. No academic attire will be distributed at the ceremonies.
ALL NYU Commencement at Yankee Stadium
Candidates for graduation can request accommodations for themselves or their guests, including ASL interpretation, wheelchair-accessible seating, assistive listening devices, and translation and language assistance.
NYU Meyers Graduation & Pinning Ceremony
There will be American Sign Language interpreters and accessible seating available.
You can request accessible seating for your guest(s) when you register to attend the ceremony, which you must do by April 11.
