Anna Lynch Turner Scholarship in Graduate Nursing

Awarded: Fall and Spring

Anna Lynch Turner received her Bachelor of Science Degree from New York University in 1943; her family created this award in her honor. The Anna Lynch Turner Scholarship in for a graduate nursing student from the nursing staff at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City. If such a candidate does not exist, secondary preference will be given to applicants who are residents of northern New Jersey. The amount of the award is determined by available funds. 

Standard eligibility, submission requirements, and terms of award for all NYU Meyers Scholarships are as follows:

  1. Applicants must have a current FAFSA on file.
  2. Applicants must submit a current resume and proof of employment at Mt. Sinai Hospital and/or proof of residency in northern New Jersey.
  3. Students receiving tuition remission from NYU or NYU Langone are not eligible to receive Meyers scholarships. Students receiving tuition remission from other employers may not receive awards above billed charges for the term.
  4. NYU Doctoral Graduate Assistants are not eligible.
  5. International students are not eligible.
  6. Awards cannot be deferred and are not automatically renewed.
  7. Be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  8. If awarded, agree to fill out a World of Thanks profile to thank the scholarship donor(s).

Additional eligibility, submission requirements, and terms of award for the Anna Lynch Turner Scholarship in Graduate Nursing are as follows:

  1. Applicants must be enrolled in a Master's Program.
  2. Applicants must be enrolled in a minimum of six credits for the awarding term.
