Jae Hyung is a first year Ph.D. student at NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing. She was born and raised in South Korea and earned a BSN in 2015 from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Nursing. She began her career in the field of pharmaceutical clinical trials. She was a data manager in Celltrion, where she contributed to the management of medical data in a Phase 3 study examining the difference in efficacy and safety between Rituxan and CT-P10, a proposed biosimilar product, in patients with follicular lymphoma. She also worked as a research nurse for the oncology department in the Seoul National University Bundang Hospital. Jae Hyung contributed to multiple trials for biliary tract cancer, breast cancer, and gastric cancer. Her point of interest lies in the palliative care of cancer patients.
