Mental Health Advocacy Nursing Student Association

The mission of the Mental Health Advocacy Nursing Student Association (MHANSA) is to empower nursing students to be responsible for their holistic health and well-being with a focus on their mental health in order to serve as role models in their communities. Some activities that we like to coordinate are a career panel with psychiatric nurses, a seminar discussing the relationship between nutrition and mental health, a workshop on deep breathing and other self-meditation exercises, and a roundtable discussion on therapeutic communication across diverse communities.

If you are interested in joining MHANSA, please email the President, Breanne Bell.

Membership in all student organizations at NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing is open to all NYU Meyers students.
