Rida Gharzeddine is an international student from Lebanon. He graduated from the American University of Beirut (a renown CCNE accredited university) with a BSN in 2003 and MSN in 2007. He worked as an adult nurse in the Magnet designated American University of Beirut Medical Center.  He taught  in undergraduate nursing programs in Lebanon and Saudi Arabia for 10 years. He also participated in several research projects and presented in national Conferences in Lebanon. He started his PhD journey in the Fall of 2016 at NYU, and completed his degree in 2020. His research focuses on understanding and managing  insomnia and its impact on health and self-care in patients with Heart Failure.As a PhD student, he presented in conferences and published in peer reviewed Journals. He was recently  appointed as an Assistant Professor in Rutgers University.
