This proposed study aims to address this critical knowledge gap by exploring the late-stage caregiving experiences of Chinese Americans family caregivers of PwD using a qualitative approach. This study will contribute to better understanding of late-stage dementia caregiving experiences, reveal related challenges, and unmet needs, and provide a theoretical foundation for the future development of culturally adapted interventions for Chinese American family caregivers who provide care for people with late-stage dementia within the American cultural context.
