Project Period
The proposed study will use multiple methods to study how language discordance affects hospital nursing practice with persons with limited English proficiency (LEP) (approximately 20% of the US population and includes deaf persons) and may contribute to inequitable outcomes associated with hospitalization. The findings from this study will help to reduce inequities in hospitalization-associated outcomes amongst LEP persons.
