Estelle Osborne Legacy Celebration

Open to Public
NYU Kimmel Center for University Life
Rosenthal Pavilion, 10th Floor
60 Washington Square South
New York, NY

You are invited to celebrate the legacy of Estelle Osborne, an educator, administrator, and leader who paved the way for generations of women of color in the nursing profession. Throughout her life, Estelle Osborne broke down racial barriers in healthcare education and defied a system built on racism to help provide quality healthcare for all.

Join us for an afternoon celebrating pioneers in the nursing field and thoughtful conversations on the critical issues facing nurses today. The program will begin with a faculty panel entitled "A Nurse's Perspective on Health Equity," followed by a reception and awards ceremony honoring the 2023 Estelle Osborne Award winner, Dr. Ashley Graham-Perel MS '18.

Faculty Panelists:
Selena Gilles
